"Comfiest Joggers ever!"

Hey everyone, Today I’m writing about my Homebody Joggers that are the comfiest joggers I have ever owned!

I was lucky enough to be a pattern tester for these and with shortening them by 4” the fit was spot on.

I picked out the lovely teal brushed back sweatshirting from the Crafty Sew and So shop and I used 2m of it. If you are taller than me ( 5 foot 1”) you will need 2.5m of 150cm.

I don’t know why I was so scared of making my own joggers before as the instructions are so clear and easy to follow and I whipped this up in an afternoon.

I sewed this all on my sewing machine, no overlocker needed. I just used my lightning bolt stitch aka stretch stitch on my machine, set it at length of 2 and the tension was spot on. For the topstitching detail I lengthened the straight stitch to 3.5.

I used a spare black shoelace for my drawstring and of course i needed to have a cute label on the inside since my cat Raylan decided to "assist"!

They are the comfiest joggers I have owned and will definitely be making more as these are great for lounging around in at home and even a relaxed day out paired with a 3 by 3 tee and sneakers.

Everyone can sew with stretch fabrics

Just follow our simple advice and you will love jersey fabrics as much as we do!
