Returns and Cancellations Policy

At My Handmade Wardrobe Patterns, we strive to ensure you are satisfied with your purchases and bookings. This policy outlines our approach to returns and cancellations for different types of products and services.
1. Physical Products
Returns:
If you are not satisfied with your physical product (e.g., printed patterns), you may return it within 14 days of delivery, provided the item is unused, undamaged, and in its original packaging.To initiate a return, please contact us at myhandmadewardrobepatterns@gmail.com with your order details and reason for requesting a return, replacement and/or refund.
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is faulty or incorrect.
Refunds:
Once we receive and inspect the returned item, subject to our satisfaction that the product is resealable or the fault is valid and our responsibility, we will issue a refund to your original payment method within 14 days.Exclusions:
Items marked as "Final Sale" or "Clearance" are not eligible for returns unless defective. If we do not deem the fault to be our responsibility or we believe misuse or malpractice has caused the fault, we are not liable we reserve our right to not refund or provide an exchange.
2. Digital Products
Due to the nature of digital downloads (e.g., PDF patterns):
Non-Refundable: Digital products are non-refundable once downloaded or accessed.
Cancellation Before Download: If you purchased a digital product by mistake and have not downloaded it, please contact us at myhandmadewardrobepatterns@gmail.com within 7 days of purchase for a refund.
3. Retreats
Cancellations by You:
If you need to cancel your retreat booking:
More than 90 days before the event: You will receive a full refund.
Less than 90 days before the event: Refunds are not guaranteed but may be issued at our discretion if your spot can be filled. Refunds may be subject to a 10% admin fee where applicable. This fee may be waved if you are able to have your booking moved to another alternative date, if one is available.
Less than 14 days before the event: No Refunds will be given. Please ensure you have sufficient travel or personal insurance to cover you in this instance.
Cancellations by Us:
If we must cancel a retreat due to unforeseen circumstances, you will receive the option to transfer your booking to another date.Very occasionally, we may have to cancel or postpone a retreat due to unavoidable circumstances or if a class is under-subscribed. You will be offered an alternative date, or a credit for the same amount of money (valid for 1 year) or a full refund. We will not be liable for any other costs or expenses that you may incur.
If our tutors are unable to attend due to sickness or unforeseen circumstances, another fully trained, experienced tutor will be called in to replace them.
4. Workshops and Private Lessons organised by My Handmade Wardrobe
For workshops or lessons organised by us:
All bookings / reservations must be paid in advance.
Due to the limited spaces at all of our classes, all fees are non refundable, and are valid only for the date you have booked. Please double check your diary carefully before booking.
We understand that sometimes things crop up, and we will try to be as flexible as we can in rescheduling your booking to another date providing there is availability and that no less than 7 days notice is given.
5. Third-Party Workshops and Events
For workshops or events organised by third parties but promoted through our site:
We are not responsible for managing cancellations or refunds. Please contact the booking venue directly.
Please refer to the specific terms and conditions of the third-party organiser for their policies.
This includes events at Carolyn Rose School of Sewing and NEC Sewing For Pleasure. Please contact the venues directly with any questions about workshop bookings, details or cancellations.
6. Gift vouchers
Gift vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. After this period, the voucher will expire and cannot be redeemed.
Gift vouchers are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash or credit.
Gift vouchers can be used to purchase products or services on our website. If the total value of the purchase exceeds the voucher amount, the remaining balance must be paid using an alternative payment method.
We are unable to replace lost or stolen gift vouchers, so please treat them as you would cash.
