The Bodice Block and Fitting Guide is part of a collection of online courses and guidebooks to enable you to realise your design aspirations and design and make a wardrobe full of clothes to express and celebrate your own unique personal style.
The Bodice Block and Fitting Guide includes a PDF Block pattern and a comprehensive instruction booklet to help you make AND most importantly, fit your own bodice block - an essential tool for exploring pattern making.
A sleeve block is also included in the pattern pack with full making up and fitting instructions for this too.
The package includes:
Printable A0 (copyshop) and tiled A4/US letter (print at home) PDF pattern
Front and back bodice in our expanded size range 1-10 (covering UK size 6-28) with bust cup size options spanning A-F cups
Sleeve blocks to fit the bodice block
Full instructions of how to prepare, construct and fit your toile
A thorough fitting guide including alterations tutorials with photos and diagrams, covering typical fitting issues you may need to address to achieve a well-fitting bodice block
This is a PDF Pattern and instructions pack
When you purchase a PDF download from us you will receive a zipped file containing:
- An A0 copy shop pattern file
- A tiled PDF pattern file which can be printed at home on A4 or US Letter size paper
- PDF printing and sticking guide (included in tiled pattern file)
- Printable instruction booklet with jargon-free instructions and step by step photo guides
