Ready to Party Dress
The Ready to Party Dress is your ultimate party staple!
The Ready to Party Dress is your go-to pattern for all special events.
The 2-part style features a separate mix and match bodice and skirt. The pattern includes two neckline styles and two skirt options, which can be combined to allow you to sew the party dress of your dreams.
Version one has a sweetheart neckline paired with a full, panelled skirt with darts at the waist, which falls to just below the knee for ultimate elegance. We’ve also included those all-important pockets!
Version two features a scooped neckline, showing off just enough décolletage, and a sexy wrap pencil skirt, with a back vent for ease of movement.
You can make the Ready to Party Dress in sizes 1 – 8.

I designed this party dress pattern after I got married and wore a handmade gown based on a vintage pattern.
I love many of the subtle design details in vintage garments, but fitting them for a modern body can be taxing!
So I decided to incorporate these details into a modern pattern. The silhouette is based on classic vintage styling with a princess seamed bodice and additional bust darts for a truly exceptional fit.
The bodice seams are slightly tapered in at the centre front and back, a design feature often used in vintage styles to draw in the waist.
The flared skirt is luxurious and moves wonderfully on the dance floor! The wrap skirt provides a sophisticated and sexy alternative look.

This pattern features a bodice with two neckline variations, and two skirt variations. These can be combined to create four different styles.

The Ready to Party Dress can be made in Sizes 1 – 8.
It is vitally important, when sewing your own clothes, to take accurate measurements of your body, and not rely on the sizing you expect to buy on the high street. For this pattern we have opted to use sizing 1 – 8, which approximately covers UK sizes 8 – 24. Measure yourself first to choose the right size for you!
