  • Classic a-line shape

  • Button down fastenings

  • Belt loops

  • Patch pockets

  • Mini or knee length options.

With striking style lines you’ll want to make this skirt for all seasons in a variety of fabrics. To help inspire you, we’ve put together a few guides to share with you for fabrications and styling inspiration.

  • We designed this skirt as a fun and modern twist on the classic western style denim skirt. Then we discovered it works in so many different fabrics too!

The slightly flared skirt gives a nod to 70s vintage styles.

  • Make the skirt in a cute short mini length or as a cool and casual midi which falls just below the knee.

  • The Button Up Skirt can be made in Sizes 1 – 8.

It is vitally important, when sewing your own clothes, to take accurate measurements of your body, and not rely on the sizing you expect to buy on the high street. For this pattern we have opted to use sizing 1 – 8, which approximately covers UK sizes 8 – 24. Measure yourself first to choose the right size for you!
