Luxury Pattern Making Retreat in Leicester

Following the success of our last pattern making retreat in April 2023 at the Gresham Hotel in Leicester, I’ve been so excited to plan the next!

The retreat was a great success with attendees learning how to define and design for their personal style, fit a bodice block and create their own designs using it.

Cath generously shared her extensive knowledge and guided the group through the fundamentals of pattern making from the very start.

The team at the Gresham Works conference rooms were so helpful, the catering was delicious and setting was very practical with everything we needed on hand.

The Gresham hotel was a peaceful place to rest after a full day of learning. Why fix what isn’t broken you might say…!

However, you know I’m always keen to develop our offering to provide the best experience possible so I am so excited to announce our luxurious, well equipt and beautiful venue… very soon!

We’ll also be offering options for those with some previous experience to participate in the retreat. We know there are many of you who are just starting your pattern making journey, but for those who have already attended a bodice or trouser fitting class and are looking to develop their designs into unique garments, we will be offering a stage 2 design development pathway. Cath and I will each teach and guide segments of each pathway so you will benefit from our combined knowledge and experience whichever option you choose.
