Queen of vintage, Claire Shell is a Vintage stylist and make-up and hair artist, vitage clothing seller and also designs her own rage of vintage reproduction clothing too.

Claire is passionate about sustainability with locally sourced, cruelty free and fair trade at the core of her ethos. Her repro range Pin Curls Vintage Inspired only uses deadstock or sustainably sourced fabric. All the buttons etc are original vintage. All her clothing is hand made and hand sewn by herself and her seamstress here in the Midlands.
After admiring her repro range, in 2022 I proposed the idea of making some of her fabulous designs into dressmaking patterns. Claire loved the idea of enabling people to wear sustainable clothing that they had made themselves!
Claire and I have been on an amazing journey together to create our dressmaking patterns brand, Pincurls Patterns, and we’re delighted to launch our first 2 patterns, the Marnie Culottes and the Maya Jumper.
